The Supper Table hosts the monthly Malvern Supper Club, offering scrumptious food in professional chef Clare’s own home. Join us for canapés, a three-course set menu , coffee and truffles for £35.00. We also offer a bespoke personal chef service in your own home. Whether you are planning a romantic tasting menu for two, a grown-up tea party for your hen do, or a 70th birthday celebration for all the family, we can provide it for you. We are very flexible so please see the menus as a guideline – we are happy to cook whatever you wish. Dietary requirements are very happily catered for.

Our aim is for you to have a wonderful event, with the most delicious food, everything made from scratch. The ingredients are also incredibly important so the emphasis is on high quality, local and sustainable suppliers.

Clare's background
A lifelong love of food persuaded me to give up the day job in 2014 and retrain as a professional chef at the Ashburton Chefs Academy in Devon. The Academy is highly regarded in culinary circles and previous students have gone onto work in Michelin star restaurants around the country. In fact, one graduate is starring in Masterchef Professionals 2018! The school also places strong emphasis on food provenance – knowing where your food has come from, how it was grown and respecting the seasons.

Despite my previous engineering career in Bristol, I have always made time for cooking. My group of friends would take it in turns to host dinner parties, which grew increasingly elaborate with ever more courses. After moving to Malvern a few years ago, I missed these occasions and started a supper club as a way to hone my skills and meet new people. As a result I was asked to cook for private events, and realised there was a business opportunity. Once I had the professional qualification, The Supper Table was born!

Over the last few years, I have worked on various projects, including as in-house chef at the exclusive wedding venue Dewsall Court, Hereford, and running the kitchen at The Brewers Arms, West Malvern, with a focus on fresh, home-cooked food. My main focus at the moment is offering bespoke dinner parties for those special occasions, working as your very own private chef.
